Prison Tycoon 2: Maximum Security is an economic game released in 2006 by ValuSoft. The game was released for PC (Windows).

At Prison Tycoon 2: Maximum Security, you play the prison manager. In the game, you can choose the game mode: Free Play or Challenge. In free mode, you choose between three locations and start your fun. There are no special requirements in this mode - you just manage a prison and you do exactly what in most tycoon games: you build buildings. The most important element is security, ie fences and goals (ie buildings in which prisoners live). Remember about additional buildings like workshops (prison must earn), gymnasiums (prisoners must have time for entertainment - less rebellions), hospital, etc.

In Challenge mode, you take over existing prisons and you have to achieve your goals, for example to protect a prison from bankruptcy or to prevent prisoners from rebellion. The game includes 15 missions in which you can demonstrate managerial skills.
