Pet Racer is a racing game with action elements, reminiscent of classic titles in the genre such as Super Mario Kart, Re-Volt, etc. Players choose one of six animal racers - including a shark, platypus, hippopotamus or chicken - each of which has unique features such as better acceleration or maximum speed.

Various bonuses can be collected on the tracks, which help to make life more difficult for rivals - among the available obstacles there are, for example, a swarm of wasps or dynamite, but also shields that protect the player.

The game offers four game modes: single race, adventure (all 30 tracks), extra mode (5 special tracks with such variations as low gravity) and local multiplayer on a split screen.

Install notes: If you are running on a newer Windows system, a dialogue may appear informing about the error - then simply select Yes or OK and the game will start normally.
