Description of M1 TANK PLATOON
M1 Tank Platoon is a simulation game with strategic elements released in 1989 by MicroProse. The game was released for Amiga, Atari ST and PC (DOS).
In the game, you play as the commander of a platoon of four M1 Abrams tanks. The plot of the game is set in Central Europe and we participate in a fictional campaign against the Soviet Army. Orders, friendly units, spend with a tactical map of the battlefield. We can also take control of one tank - assuming the role of a tank, driver or shooter commander.
As the commander of a platoon of tanks, we control only four of them, but there are missions in which we will have to issue orders to other units, e.g. helicopters, fighters or older M60 Patton tanks.
