"Tony Hawk's American Wasteland" is another installment of the popular arcade games under the brand of the famous American skater, Tony Hawk. This time the action takes place only in the Los Angeles area.

In the story mode, we play the role of a young boy from the province who comes to a big city in California with the dream of becoming a skateboarding champion. Initially, access to Los Angeles is limited, and we discover subsequent locations by completing various tasks assigned by NPCs. This group includes both ordinary residents of the metropolitan area and professional players, including Tony Hawk himself.

To move around the vast city, players use buses, and the main means of transport on the streets of Los Angeles is, of course, a skateboard. The game offers plenty of opportunities for spectacular acrobatics and tricks. Moreover, the developers have also introduced high-performance BMX bikes, which adds a new dimension to the gameplay. An additional attraction is a mode that allows you to visit locations from earlier parts of the series.
