Tanktics is a strategy game released in 1999 by Interplay Entertainment. The game was released for PC (Windows).

Tanktics is a strategic RTS game in which the player will command his army of tanks. The goal of the game is to destroy the strategic points of your computer-controlled opponent. The game is divided into 4 main campaigns. each of them contains 6 independent missions. During the game, the player will have to go through four time periods: the Stone Age, the Middle Ages, the latest times and a period in the undefined distant future. The opponent always starts a few steps ahead of him, which makes defeating him a real challenge. The tanks that the player commands are built from scratch by himself. It is the player who decides which part to use for construction, depending on whether he wants to increase maneuverability, resistance or armament of his machines. The materials needed for production also have to be collected by him personally. This is of great importance for the success of each mission. The game features quite complex logic puzzles and it is decorated with excellent humorous inserts.
