You Are Empty presents an alternative vision of the history of the Soviet Union. In 1955, the country under Stalin aims to expand communism. Totalitarian leaders dream of a superman soldier. As a result of immoral experiments, some citizens mutate and go mad.


The protagonist of the title is a man who wakes up in a dilapidated hospital. He must figure out a way to overcome the mutation without getting killed.


You Are Empty is a first-person shooter with adventure elements. Gameplay is mainly based on fighting mad people or Soviet soldiers. The player has at his disposal a large arsenal intended for melee and ranged attacks. Among the firearms you can find real examples of the Mauser C96 pistol, PPSh-41 pistol, Mosin Nagant M91 / 30 rifle or the repeating shotgun.


The whole thing is enriched with a dark atmosphere straight from thriller games. The action takes place in dirty streets and in dilapidated buildings, where death lurks with every step.
