In Backpacker: The Lost Florence Gold Mine you can play the role of such a recipient. Released in 1997 by Animagination, the game allows us to play the role of Detective McBlade, who is in this situation.


The detective receives a letter asking for help in solving a case from 60 years ago. So your character starts an investigation. The story is based on the fate of John Florence, who discovered the gold mine years ago. His location was described in the diary, which has now found its way into the hands of our hero. The problem, however, is that the journal is missing a few key written pages. And that's where the fun begins. Take on the challenge of unraveling this mystery and do your best to find the lost mine.
