Madagascar is an arcade computer game created for younger users. It is based on the plot of the animated film of the same name, produced by Toys for Bob. The main characters are animals living in the New York Zoo, who decide to escape in search of freedom.

The action begins with Marty escaping with the help of a group of penguins. Other animals flee with him and are captured. During the transport to Africa, the ship is hijacked by penguins, and the animals land on the title island of Madagascar, where new, fascinating adventures await them.

The game consists of eleven stages, unlocked as the story progresses. In each stage, we take turns directing one of the animals, performing arcade tasks and simple logical puzzles. Each animal has unique features that diversify the gameplay. Marty can use his hooves, Alex uses a powerful roar and jumps, Gloria is a sprint master and Melman can use his legs as a propeller.

Sometimes we also play the role of penguins who perform spy missions using items found in the area. In addition, the game includes mini-games that can be unlocked in the store for collected coins. Some of them allow you to play multiplayer.

Madagascar features 3D graphics that are colorful and faithful to the animated film. Unfortunately, the creators did not obtain permission to use the voices of the actors from the film, which is why the characters speak with different voices than in the original.
