Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an action game released in 2010 by Eidos. The game was released for PCs (Windows) and PlayStation and XBox consoles.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a spin off of the legendary Tomb Raider game series about the adventures of a young archeologist. In this installment, Lara is accompanied by her friend from the Mayan tribe - Totec.


Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is not a typical game from the Tomb Raider series. First of all, the game is based on cooperation between two characters, and we observe the game from an isometric perspective. The story takes place around a mysterious artifact called the Smoke Mirror, and the main antagonist is a monster named Xolotl released from him. During the game, we fight hordes of dead warriors, giant salamanders and other such monsters are also an obstacle.
