Gunship 2000, is a helicopter flight simulator. Originally the game was created for PCs in 1991, then in 1993 for Amiga. In 1996 a version for Playstation was created. Gunship 2000 was released by Microprose.

In the game, depending on the current mission, we will be sitting at the helm of US helicopters, such as: AH-1 Cobra, AH-64 Apache, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, MD 530MG, UH-60 Blackhawk and at higher levels ) RAH-66 Comanche and AH-64B Apache Longbow. Gunship 2000, is a relatively easy flight simulator, as for the times when it was created, is a well-balanced level of realism and fun. The game offers two 'theaters' of activities: the Middle East and Europe. As we mentioned, the game was created in the 90's, so the graphics of the objects are very little detail. In spite of this, the game attracts with 'playability'.

Gunship 2000, is a graphically refined game - taking into account the helicopter cockpits, the area in which combat operations are conducted has been less developed. However, remember when the game was created. Sound and playability are high. The simulator should be in the collection of every fan of simulation games.

Install notes:
To start the game in Amiga version, you need to buy the original Rom, eg Kickstart 1.3. Set the WinUEA emulator to at least 1 Mb Chip RAM.
