The "Shield" game is based on the popular sensational series. The same as in the series, the action takes place in Los Angeles at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The character we play is a police detective, Vic Mackey, and his task is to command an experimental unit created to fight organized crime. The aforementioned detective, however, is not a role model in his profession. In the past, he has tortured suspects, stolen and even killed. The game is based on the performance of missions during which we visit a realistically reproduced City of Angels. The main goal of the player is to fight criminals. The plot includes catching serial killers, eliminating drug dealers or thwarting bank robberies. Vic Mackey does not avoid unethical and illegal methods of operation, while completing the mission, the player can use brute force in hand-to-hand combat and use the indispensable pistol. We observe the actions of the protagonist controlled by us from the perspective of a third person.
