Released in 1990, The Gold of the Aztecs is an action-packed and adventurous production from the U.S. Gold Ltd. Available on Amiga, Atari ST and DOS platforms. During the game we play the role of Bret Conrad, a war veteran fighting, among others in the Vietnam War. Now, having finished his military service, Bret becomes an adventurer. One day he meets the possible greatest adventure of his life. Well, he becomes the owner of an old map of the Amazon, showing the lost city of Quetzacotl, and with it a hidden Aztec tomb filled with gold. Sounds tempting, doesn't it? So get your backpack, gun and knife ready and go on an adventure with Bret. There are many pitfalls on the route. Stones or dangerous bridges are just the beginning. Facing giant elephants and even cannibalistic natives is just a challenge!
