The year 2326. The end of the devastating civil war. Rival clans decide to put an end to internal struggles. For this purpose, teams are formed that take part in fierce street battles called Speedball. These competitions quickly became immensely popular. Ten years later, Speedball became a national sport with professional athletes taking over the game.

"Speedball 2: Tournament" is the brutal competition of the future. The game takes place in a huge arena, where two well-equipped teams face a fierce fight. Brutal sports simulator combines elements of American football and rugby. The goal of the game is to break through the ranks of defenders and deliver the steel ball to the opponent's territory. To take part in the competition, the player recruits his own team of human or mechanical droids. There are no rules in Speedball - the strongest wins!

There are three classes available for the game - tough and brutal gladiators, female Amazons and accurate and ruthless cyborgs. As usual with its own pros and cons. All three classes have different scores for the six main abilities - speed, aggressiveness, accuracy and throwing power, resistance and endurance. Gladiators, for example, are famous for their strength and quick reaction to the ball and the actions of the opponent. However, they are not fast and accurate players - according to the developers, they are the slowest class in Speedball 2: Tournament. Adequately agile amazons play on the pitch, throw the ball accurately and are durable enough. The disadvantages stem from the advantages - this team quickly "crumbles" after a powerful attack.
