Shellshock: Nam '67 is an action game released in 2004 by Eidos. The game was released for PC (Windows), PlayStation and XBox.
Shelshock Nam 67 is a game designed to introduce players to one of the most controversial wars of the 20th century. It is about the war in Vietnam. The player takes on the role of a novice soldier fighting in the ranks of the United States army, who takes part in various missions. While completing the tasks, the player will have the opportunity to see the true and quite controversial picture of the war. Rape, murder of people, bombing of civilian homes or traps set by the Viet Cong and torture will be shown.
Carrying out subsequent missions makes the hero gain experience and climb the ranks of the military career higher and higher. He faces many challenges, such as fighting against the North Vietnamese Army in great battles or taking part in patrols, during which you should be careful about the various traps set by the Viet Cong. One of the more unusual tasks is, for example, a mission in which you have to silently eliminate the enemy general. However, these are not tasks modeled on real battles and missions from the Vietnam War.
