Sanity: Aiken's Artifact is an action game released in 2000 by Fox Interactive. The game was released for PC (Windows).
Doctor Joan Aiken, in the past, discovered a method that allows you to use a previously unused part of the human brain. A special serum is needed for the cells to function. Thanks to its administration, the patient would become unique and significantly exceed the skills of the average person. The numerous talents that appear after taking the potion include, among others: the ability to levitate, shoot lightning, etc. Talents in the game are divided into sections / collections called totems. Aiken became the founder of the totem of Science.
The game begins when Cain is suspended from DNPC due to a conflict with Priscilla Divine, the leader of a radical organization known as the Eye of Ra. After these events, Cain is admitted to the Eye of Ra, which is tasked to break down from the inside. From that moment on, the fierce battle between Cain and the totalitarianists begins. It turns out that part of Aiken's magic potion has been stolen and can be used by members of the Eye of Ra for evil purposes. Cain's job is to stop the organization.
