Imperium Galactica is an action game (with strategic elements) released in 1997 by GT Interactive Software Corp. The game was released for PC (DOS / Windows).

Galactica Empire is a game in which the player is tasked with expanding three consecutive colonies: Achilles, Naxos and San Sterling. Taking care of their development, making further scientific breakthroughs (the game has an extensive technology tree) and directing a small fleet of spaceships we lead humanity to the power and domination in the galaxy. The game does not throw at once into deep water - subsequent elements of the game are introduced gradually, along with promotions received by the main character, Dante Johnson, starting from the lieutenant and ending with the Grand Admiral. From time to time, the game provides us with flashbacks in which we learn about Dante's past and find out that he is a much more complicated character than you might think. The actions of our computer opponents are not only based on scripts, but constantly make independent decisions and develop. This means that depending on how well the initial stages of the game go and how quickly we get in the way of other galactic empires, further gameplay may be more difficult than easier.
