Monkey Island 2 LeChuck`s Revenge, a point and click game released in 1991 by LucasArts. The game was released for Amiga, Macintosh and PC.

The action game takes place in the fictional area of ​​the three Caribbean islands a few months after the completion of The Secret of Monkey Island. The game starts when Guybrush Threepwood hangs up in a cave and talks to Elaine Marley about the events that led to the situation. After this scene begins the game, which is the flashback of the majority of the story. The action begins at Scabb Island, while traveling Gyubrush will also move between other islands: Phatt Island, Booty Island and finally Dinky Island.


The retrograde begins when Gyubrush decides to capture the famous treasure of Big Whoop and looks for a ship to take to the island where the treasure is found. Already at the very beginning he meets LeChuck's former mat - Largo LaGrande, who imposed an embargo on the whole island. Gyubrush shows La Grande beard LeChuck and tells him that he is dead. La Grande steals his beard, resurrecting the evil pirate. Our hero also meets the Voodoo Lady, who reveals to him the mystery of the great treasure, telling him that the treasure map of Big Whoop is divided into four parts. Most of the gameplay is just a search for all four parts of the map.


After many vicissitudes on the other islands and eventually obtaining all parts of the map, with the aid of Willy's cartographer, Gyubrush enters the fortress of LeChuck, where he is captured. After playing with explosives, our hero arrives at Dinky Island where he meets Herman Toothrota and his parrot, who becomes helpful in further exploration. Eventually, after finding a place where this treasure could be found, retrospection ends.


Guybrush's rope hangs and falls into the depths of a series of underground corridors where LeChuck meets. Here he meets his and LeChuck's past and here history has its finale.
