Disney Pixar Cars is a box office hit. A game had to be created on the basis of such success. It was created at a time when game film adaptations were at the highest level. The relatively low level of difficulty and the dexterity driving model indicate the target group of the title, i.e. the youngest. In addition to the free racing mode itself, a story mode has been implemented in the production, referring to the content of the original. There are 12 characters available to the player, known from the big screen. Each of them has different driving parameters. In addition, they are distinguished by characteristic gestures and sayings. In the English version, the voices were given by film actors who re-played the roles they played. The tracks are stuffed with content, obstacles and collectibles, and the gameplay is reminiscent of the Mario Kart series. The colorful and legible graphics continue to please the eye, despite the passage of time. There is no repeatability here, which has a positive effect on subsequent approaches to the title. Even though it is a game aimed at children, every fan of the original movie will find something for themselves. It's time to start the fight for the Golden Mug!
