MetalHeart: Replicants Rampage is a cRPG game set in a futuristic, cyberpunk world, which was created in 2005. During the production, the authors modeled themselves on such games as Deus Ex, Syndicate and Fallout, as well as on the paper RPG Shadowrun.

The plot of the game focuses on the two main characters, the tough captain Lanthan and his companion Cheris, who crash land on an inhospitable, distant planet. Players are tasked with helping the heroes survive on this planet and save the world. Although the plot is linear, the authors have implemented many interesting twists and turns, as well as a system of randomly generated quests that enriches the gameplay.

In the game, the player can join up to six characters to his team, including replicants, cyborgs, mutants and nomads. Each of these races has their own unique traits and skills that affect the course of the game. The player also has an impact on the character's attitude towards different races - the decision whether to fight them or allies affects the further development of the plot.

During the game, characters develop by gaining experience points, which allows you to advance to the next levels. Each character is described by sixteen features that affect how he copes in a particular situation. In addition, the player can acquire and use various implants (and there are as many as 400 of them!) that affect the character's skills.

The game offers about 70 different locations, between which the player can move using the world map. In addition, during the expeditions, the team may come across random locations, which introduces an additional element of surprise to the game. The fights in the game are turn-based, which allows for better planning of moves. The player has 60 types of weapons at his disposal and various tactical options, such as hiding or escaping.
