Death Gate is an adventure game genre. Its plot is based on the short story by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis entitled "Gate of Death". The plot of the game focuses on a world where fantasy is the key element of the game. There is a struggle for global domination in the game with opponents, the Patrynans. The game world has been divided into five parts by the Sartan Council of Seven. The "menszami" races of elves, dwarves and humans exist in the four game worlds and symbolize Air, Fire, Water and Stone. The race "Sartan" inhabits the Nexus. The Patryn people were thrown into the labyrinth by the Sartyns for opposing them. The Patryns, after two thousand years of spending their fate in the maze, found a way out of it. This introduction is a preview to the world of a wonderful and magical game. From now on, you start your adventure as a young Haplo. Your task will be to visit four worlds and obtain seals in each of them that will allow you to restore the Patrons freedom. We can also find a lot of great humor in the game.
