Darker is an action game released in 1995 by Psygnosis Limited. The game was released for PC (DOS).

Darker takes place on a distant planet, which is divided into two areas: in one there is permanent night, and in the other - day. The first area is inhabited by the peaceful Delphi race, used to living in the dark. The other side is the domain of the Halons who cannot live without light. There is a war between the inhabitants of the planet. The Halons dominate the conflict because they have a military advantage over Delphi. The only salvation for this breed is the talented shuttle pilot - Tolly.


Darker is a demanding simulator in which the player performs missions on the surface of a shaded city and in tunnels under it. He has at his disposal a simple vehicle in all respects yielding to enemy machines. Therefore, each encounter is a challenge. As the story progresses, Delphi engineers make further breakthroughs in technology, making the fight more even over time.


The missions take place over a very large area, the player must learn to move around it efficiently, because in Darker hints appear very rarely.
