Comapnions of Xanth is an adventure game released in 1993 by Legend Entertainment Company. The game was released for PC (DOS).

Companions of Xanth is a first-person point-and-click adventure game. The plot of the game is inspired by the famous book by Piers Anthony called "Demons don't Dream". During the game, the player takes on the role of Dug, who is a young boy once transferred to the other side of a computer screen. The main character's goal is to regain freedom and win the two demons (E (A / R) th and X (A / N) th) who are responsible for his transfer to the virtual world.


Companions of Xanth presents the player with various types of puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty. Often, however, the greatest challenge is to cope with the slightly surreal rules governing the entire game world, which is divided into four lands (fire, air, water and earth). During the game, the player moves around static locations, collects various items that go to his inventory, or interacts with elements of the environment and often bizarre NPCs.
