The game takes place during the Vietnam War in 1964-1975, with the opportunity to choose the side of the conflict: the armed forces of the United States or the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

One of the key elements of the game is a unique approach to the presented war events. The creators focused on the pleasure of gameplay, rather than on realistic representation of combat operations.
The game offers dynamic online gameplay, supporting up to 64 players simultaneously. However, there is also a single-player mode, which allows you to enjoy the game without having to connect to the network.

The theater of operations is the jungle (inspired by the famous Ho Chi Minh supply route) and the streets of cities such as Hue.
The introduction of a radio with music from the 1960s adds an additional atmosphere to the game, sometimes making the player feel like a participant in a scene from a cult war movie, such as "Platoon" or "Apocalypse Now". Additionally, when entering the vehicles, you can turn on the radio and go into battle to the sounds of songs from that period.

"Battlefield Vietnam" is a neat combination of fun while maintaining authentic elements of the war in Vietnam. Great graphics, 1960s atmosphere and dynamic gameplay make this game worth reinstalling after many years.
