Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 is an action game in which we play characters known from comics. Our task is to free the druid Getafix from Roman captivity. In order to free the druid, we have to go to Rome, where Caesar has set up a great amusement park. On the way, we will have to face countless Roman soldiers. Most of the game's actions are fights, but there will also be simple puzzles to solve in which we will have to switch between our heroes (eg Asterix will not move the stones). During the fight, each of the heroes has several combinations of attacks and special items to use, e.g. magic potions.
The game is divided into several levels - themed parts of the amusement park. The game was positively received by the market. A few years after the release of the original - a remastered version of the game was released.
