The Lord of the Rings - Conquest is a game set in Tolkien's world based on Peter Jackson's film trilogy.
The game offers two game modes: campaigns and quick battles. The story mode is full of two extensive campaigns in which you can opt for the side of good or evil, choosing the former, witnessing the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and experiencing the most important battles that decided the fate of this world, for example, you can defend Helm's Deep and control allied units to repel the orc attack.
The player can control four classes, which are: warriors, archers, mages and scouts. In addition, at various stages of the game, you can take control of the heroes of movies and books, i.e. Legolas, Gandalf or Aragorn, and by playing on the side of evil, you can control giants.
Taking the side of a powerful sorcerer, the player can experience a completely new story that could have taken place in Middle-earth, this adventure assumes that Frodo has been defeated before the ring is destroyed and Sauron with all his might proceeds to Invade Middle-earth, attacking strongholds such as Minas Tirith or home of the Shire hobbit mentioned.
Both campaigns have 16 stages of play at their disposal on three levels of difficulty, and the missions that are included in them are often very diverse, which gives additional fun to the game.
