The Civil War is a strategy game released in 1995 by Empire Interactive. The game was released for PC (DOS).

In the game, you can command the North or South forces through the four bloody years of the Civil War in America (from 1861 to 1865), which shaped the most powerful nation in the world. The Civil War contains all the resources of the first modern war - you can control battleships along the Mississippi River, build a railway to control rebel cavalry units. In the game you will plan your strategic moves, coordinating all possible types of army. You can move monots by land (eg by railways), rivers (eg battleships) and the sea (ships).

The Civil War, in addition to the campaign, also includes four historical battles: 1st Bull Run / 1st Manassas, Shiloh / Pittsburgh Landing, Wilson's Creek / Oak Hills and Mill Springs / Logan's Cross Roads.
