Planescape: Torment is an RPG game released in 1999 by Interplay Productions. The game was released for Macintosh and PC (Windows / Linux).
Planescape: Torment is a role-playing computer game (classic RPG) set in the world of Planescape (multiverse) taken from the classic role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. The virtual universe consists of dimensions that differ from each other in their characters, appearance and even the laws of nature. Individual spheres are interconnected by portals, which are hidden in the city of Sigil located in the Outer Realm. The main character of the game is Nameless, who is an immortal man without memory. The player guides his character on the way to find his identity and lost memories.
The game world is presented in an isometric view. The success of subsequent actions taken by the player is determined by the dice roll. Clashes with opponents take place in real time, and the player's role is to issue appropriate commands with his character. However, the fight is just an addition to the game. The main goal is to explore the huge world of Planescape.
