The plot of the game Pilot Down: Behind Enemy Lines takes us back to World War II, until 1944. The main character is the American pilot Bill Foster, whose plane was shot down over enemy territory. The player, playing his character, has to fight for survival. The main goal is to get from the territory of the Third Reich to Switzerland, which was neutral at that time.
The creators have prepared nine unique levels. During the exploration of the next stages, the player is faced with tasks such as avoiding capture by German soldiers who are constantly patrolling the area or looking for shelter from harsh winter. If Bill Froser is exposed to harsh winters and low temperatures for too long, he may become sick and even die as a result of frostbite, so it is necessary to locate shelters to warm up and regenerate. The hero has 9 coefficients such as endurance, shooting, health, strength, and dexterity. At the moment when our character is exhausted by too long struggles, our statistics decrease, causing a deterioration in aiming or a difficult escape. During the patrol, enemy troops will react to every sound Bill makes, and we can also expect notorious searches of all nooks and crannies in which we can potentially hide. Another enemy are civilians who are not friendly to strangers and will report our situation in cold blood. However, we can deceive our opponents and avoid detection by changing into a German uniform or throwing objects to distract the enemy. We observe the game through the TPP view. All character models and locations have been created in three dimensions. The action usually takes place at night, because this is when it is easiest to avoid a confrontation with the enemy. In summary, it is an interesting item for all fans of the war theme.
