In Abe's Exoddus we play the role of Abe, with whom we are trying at all costs to stop the Magog Cartel, destroying the Mudokon cemetery. The Magogs' goal is to find bones in the cemetery that will allow them to create a special Soul Storm beer.
In this platform game we fight our opponents, trying to kill them, and in some cases avoid by jumping over them. In general, in the game we jump a lot, climb and solve puzzles that allow us to survive or eliminate our rivals. Meanwhile, we save Abe's people by healing them. Our main character has the power of temporary invisibility, which is sometimes necessary when fighting enemies and solving tasks.
Abe's Exoddus is a continuation of the story presented in the previous installment, when Abe and his kin celebrate the defeat of the evil Gluccons. The souls of the dead inform the main character during his sleep about the torturers who destroyed the necropolises and decided to dig up the remains of the Mudokons. Abe goes to Necrum, where he finds out that the words of the spirits were true. The hero faces various dangers in order to save as many slaves employed to help in the necropolis as possible.
