Description of LORD OF THE RINGS: BATTLE FOR MIDDLE-EARTH
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth, a real-time strategy game released in 2004 by EA Games. The game was released for PCs (Windows).
The plot of the game based on the books of J.R.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson's movie - The Battle for Middle-earth. The characters, places, monsters and other elements contained in the game are presented exactly as in the film trilogy.
The game has two game modes: campaign and Skirmish.
In the game, you can choose campaigns for Good Campaign or Evil Campaign.
- Good Campaign, lead the Ringworld team to Mrodor and defend Rohan against Isengard forces.
- Evil Campaign, develop the evil forces of Sauron and Saruman and gradually conquer further peoples of Middle-earth.
- Skirmish, allows the player to battle anywhere in Middle-earth.
Install notes:
After installing the game, copy the file GAME.DAT located in the HOODLUM folder to the directory where you installed the game.

if the downloaded file doesnt have en ending like .zip - just put .zip via "rename file" at the end of the file name. then extract with common extraction progs.also: found a simple way for desktop win10 users. worked for me at my first try after combatibility tests didnt work at all. its just an ordinary file called "options.ini" which cant be created on newer systems by the game itself. so to put it bluntly the game doesnt have a clue how to create the game-session and cant start. creating that .ini file yourself will solve this.
