Daughter of Serpents (also known as The Scroll) is an adventure game released in 1992 by Millenium Interactive. The game was released for PC (DOS).
Daughter of the Serpents (The Scroll) is an atmospheric point-and-click adventure game that takes us on a terrifying journey, during which we will face a dark, dangerous cult that wants to destroy the world. This adventure game, inspired by the cult works of H. P. Lovecraft, allows the player to choose one of six available characters or create their own. Regardless of our choice, we are thrown into a complicated plot taking place in Egypt. It is there, in Alexandria, that the protagonist receives a suspicious scroll from a mysterious stranger. Its contents proclaim that a mysterious, ancient creature will soon be released who will take over mankind. Although our protagonist ended up in the city because of a simple departure from work, now it is on his shoulders to fight supernatural forces and people who profess them. By talking to many people, analyzing ancient scrolls and going through various logical puzzles, our goal is to prevent the coming cataclysm. The story changes depending on our choices, and there are many endings available.
