In the game we play the role of Patrick Galloway, a veteran of the First World War. Our hero is known for studying the supernatural and the occult. At the invitation of his friend Jeremiah Covenant, he goes to Ireland to unravel the case of a mysterious curse. He tells him about an incident that took place in his childhood. Together with four siblings, they found an occult book in their father's library. It was used to perform a ritual in a stone circle on the island, in their family estate. It seemed just a childish prank, but as they reached adulthood, more of Jeremiah's brothers and sisters went mad and then died. Jeremiah is the last survivor of all five. However, that wasn't the end of trouble, as the curse resurrected his siblings as life-threatening monsters.

As Patrick Galloway, we strive to stop the curse on the Covenant family. We learn more about the power of the stones where the ritual of releasing evil took place. It turns out that the Immortal King is behind her, a powerful, demonic figure capable of destroying our world. To stop him, we have to face four undead siblings, as well as Count Otto Keisinger, who wants to use the Undead King for his own purposes.
