Chessmaster 8000 is a puzzle game released in 2000 by Mindscape. The game was released for PC (Windows).
Chessmaster 8000 is the next installment of the game of virtual chess. In this part of the game, many aspects have been improved, e.g. artificial intelligence, which is now much more refined. In addition, the game includes several extras such as a children's corner. The game also includes chess lessons led by Josh Waitzkin and Bruce Pandolfini.
