Pharaoh's Tomb is a platform game released in 1990 by Apogee Software, Ltd. The game allows you to play the role of an assistant to the famous archaeologist Dr. Jones - Nevad Smith. The one, remaining in the shadow of his superior, decides to go to Egypt on his own. It is there that the rediscovered tomb of the pharaoh is waiting for the daredevil to identify him. Especially since it was Smith who determined the location of the entrance to the tomb. On the spur of the moment, he sneaks into the doctor's office and takes over the map with the exact location of the find. This is how his great adventure begins, now also yours.


Over the course of four episodes, the player will face many traps, puzzles and other adversities, such as attacks by bats or monsters. These stages are: Raiders of The Lost Tomb, Pharaoh's Curse, Temple of Terror and Nevada's Revenge! Each of them consists of 20 single-screen stages. When controlling Nevada, the player must find a certain number of keys located on each level, which will probably be hampered by the above-mentioned examples of adversities. The player's adventure begins with the five lives of the hero who, using a spear, has to defend himself against what awaits him.
