Parasol Stars: The Story of Rainbow Islands II (other titles: The Story of Bubble Bobble III) is a 1991 Taito Corporation sequel to Rainbow Islands. The main characters are Bubby and Bobby, who kept the human form depicted in Rainbow Islands. Their task is to defeat the enemies that occupy the neighboring planets. The player who takes up the fight with the enemy is equipped with a magic umbrella. It is a universal weapon. You can use it as a shield for defense. It is great for stunning the enemy. When used as a parachute, it will also work well.


The plot takes place in eight different worlds. Completing each of them involves defeating seven main rounds and ending the final fight with the strongest enemy. Only victory will allow you to go to the next world. I advise you to collect the stars you come across on your way. Owning three of them opens up two additional secret worlds!
