Mission Critical is an adventure game released in 1995 by Legend Entertainment Company. The plot of the game takes place in the year 2134. For many years there has been a war between the United Nation and the Alliance, who finally declared independence and separated themselves from the overwhelming politics of the first party. However, due to the powerful United Army, the Alliance is losing its chances. The breakthrough may be a space artifact found by the Allies on the planet Persephone.


The player takes on the role of a crew member of the USS Lexington spacecraft, who sets off on a secret mission to Persephone in order to examine an unknown find. All goes quite well until the ship is ambushed by United spies. The team dies, the only survivor is you. When you wake up from unconsciousness, you realize that you are alone aboard a damaged ship.


Your goal is to complete this mission. You'll need to patch holes, prevent the reactor from overloading, and get your computer back up and running. You must make the ship operational and be ready for the enemy forces. There are many puzzles to be solved that will allow you to get closer to Persephone, land happily on it, examine the artifact and use it to save humanity.
