Soul Reaver is the second part of the Legacy of Kain series, telling the story of the vampire race in the fictional land of Nosgoth. The main character of this part is the vampire Raziel, who for his detriment to his master, Cain, is sentenced to death by throwing into the Lake of the Dead. He is resurrected by a powerful deity who wants to make Raziel his tool - the title Soul Reaper - to defeat Cain. The main character after resurrection becomes a ghost and as such has the ability to move between the material and spectral world, and the player can use this skill to overcome subsequent obstacles. An important part of the game is also fighting with very different types of opponents. The game's atmosphere is very dark and it is not without reason that high age restrictions have been imposed on it. The story is much more complicated than you might think at first. In addition to the main plot of revenge on Cain, we also have many side quests in the game, including a great intrigue whose details we gradually learn.
