John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles: An Adventure in Terror is the perfect game for fans of games full of adventure and unexpected twists. Released in 1998 by Red Orb Entertainment, the game is available only on the Windows platform.


During the game, we take over the role of Olivier Metcalf, the son of the last of the directors of the psychiatric hospital in Blackstone. Recently, the hospital was sold and turned into the Museum of the History of Psychiatry. The hospital has witnessed many unexplained deaths in the past, hiding more than one bloody history. Olivier is trapped within the walls of the building and is forced to discover all the secrets of the hospital. To make matters worse, while walking through the corridors of the psychiatrist, you have to help Olivier find his son Joshua, kidnapped and hidden by the ghost of his grandfather. Now, as Olivier, you have additional motivation by traversing the hospital and solving a series of puzzles that bring the hero closer to saving his son. However, the only clues about the psychiatric facility's past remain locked in the minds of its ghostly inhabitants. That is why you will meet many former patients on your way, e.g. a schizophrenic who believes she is an English queen, or a teenage girl with an imaginary pregnancy.
