Hype: The Time Quest is an action game released in 1999 by Playmobil Interactive. The game was released for PC (Windows) and PlayStation.

King Taskan IV celebrates the end of the civil war. The brave warrior Hype receives the Sword of Peace for heroic deeds and loyalty to the throne. One day, a mysterious black knight named Barnak appears who casts a powerful spell on Hype. He turns him into a statue and sends him back two hundred years. Mage Gogoud brings Hype back to life, and a brave knight has to come up with a way to get back to his time, defeat Barnak and marry his beloved Vibe.

Install notes: If you're using a 64-bit system, use the alternate installer found in the game archive. The installer also includes the nGlide wrapper (you can choose optionally to install). Install nGlide_Patch before starting.
 If you run the game on older computers and you have problems with graphics, you can copy the appropriate files from the 3dfx_fix or d3d_fix directory (depending on the graphics card).
