Heart of Darkness is an arcade-platform game released in 1998 by Interplay. The game was released for PC (Windows) and PlayStation.

The player takes on a boy named Andy, who during the solar eclipse forces the darkness took the dog to the World of Shadows. The brave boy sets off to rescue his homemade friend with a plasma weapon under his arm. During the journey, he will face many different enemies, from spiders, worms and Shadows to the ruler of darkness. However, the brave boy is not alone, strange creatures help him in the fight. They are beings who resisted the ruler of Darkness and did not change into shadows. In addition, Andy will gain possession of an extraordinary, life-giving power along the way.
