Dracula: The Resurrection is an adventure game released in 1999 by Canal + Multimédia. The game was released for Macintosh, PC (Windows) and PlayStation.
The year is 1904, seven years have passed since Jonathan Harker pierced Count Dracula's heart with a silver pin and took his life. Now the hero lives a quiet life with Mina in London. Unexpectedly, his wife decides to go to the former vampire castle in Transylvania. Jonathan begins to suspect that his greatest enemy not only managed to survive their last encounter, but also gained control of Mina. So he sets out to save his beloved. Dracula: The Resurrection refers to the cult horror novel "Dracula" written by Bram Stoker. The events shown in this production are a direct continuation of the fate of the main characters.
Dracula: The Resurrection is an adventure production with an FPP view. The gameplay is based on elements characteristic of the point & click genre. Following the example of the cult position of Myst, here also players collect items, solve logical puzzles, visit various locations and conduct conversations with encountered NPCs. The title is kept in an atmosphere of horror, which is magnified by a dark soundtrack and an extensive background plot full of terrifying scenes.
