Dizzy - Treasure Island is a platform game with puzzle pieces released in 1989 by Codemasters. The game was developed for Amiga, Atari ST, C64, ZX SPectrum and Amstrad. This is the first Dizzy game. There are six parts about the brave adventures.
The object of the game is to find a treasure hidden by a pirate called HookJaw. In the game you control Dizzy - this is a walking egg. You will have to solve puzzles using the objects on the island. In your pockets you have a place for three things at a time. When searching for treasure you will find many unfavorable creatures and traps.
The game is made in a cartoon convention. Dizzy - Treasure Island, is a very colorful and matched game. Unfortunately, the sound is not the highest flight, but it does not tire of playing the game.
The Amiga version does not require the original rom. You can start the game using the AROS romu supplied with the WinUEA emulator. However, to start the game with AROS you must set at least 1 Mb of Chip RAM in the RAM tab. If you have an original rom (eg Kickstart 1.3) you only need 512 kb of RAM.
