"Disney's The Emperor's New Groove" is a 3D platform game whose plot is based on the animated Disney film of the same title. Just like in the movie, the selfish and cruel emperor is cursed and turned into a llama. The player takes on the role of this cynical llama and sets out to find a potion that will restore his previous human form.
The game offers a variety of levels, ranging from traditional platform levels in a 3D world to "rollercoaster"-style levels with a forward camera where the player must avoid obstacles.
The game, as well as the cutscenes, are full of humorous situations and dialogues. Additionally, the game contains short fragments from the film.
