In Chaos Legion, the player takes control of a certain Sieg Warheit. A character with a nice-sounding name is a knight who wants to stop his old friend - Victor Delacroix - from destroying all three worlds (Nether, Celestial and Middle). All because of a mysterious book with enormous destructive power, which Victor just stole. This book is called "Apocrypha of Isaac" and is an important artifact for a certain order.


The whole thing is in a slightly gothic atmosphere, which is why the game is dominated by views of ruins, castles and the ubiquitous darkness. The seemingly simple plot reveals its more surreal and non-linear face over time.


The game consists of thirteen missions and the final fight. The main task is to eliminate the hosts of enemies with a sword and special powers, the so-called Legions. They are creatures and there are seven of them. Each of them has different properties and can cope with clashes with other opponents. Some of them fight hand-to-hand and some at a distance. There are also those that base their usefulness on magic and, interestingly, all of them provide the player with some of their powers even when they are not actively participating in combat.


It is worth noting that killing waves of monsters regenerates health or extends the time of active presence of our demons.
