Cannon Fodder, an arcade game released by Virgin Interactive in 1993. The game was developed for Amiga, Atari ST, PC, and SEGA. Later, a mobile game conversion was made.
In the game we control a group of soldiers. Our goal is (depending on the mission) to destroy all buildings, kill all enemies, etc. At the beginning of the game recruiters do not rank. At each stage, your troops receive a higher rank promotion (if you can be sure of that). Depending on the level you can use grenades or bazookas. The standard equipment of a soldier is a rifle and there is no limit to the amount of ammunition. In the game you will be able to ride the SUV or even a helicopter (on selected levels)! Soldiers always follow their commander. The initial stages are very easy. But do not be fooled. Later stages are very difficult. It's a good idea to save the game after each step.
Cannon Fodder is a very dynamic game - in the manual, you can find a mention to people suffering from epilepsy - they did not play it. Graphically very elaborate. Sound, well - it's on a really good level - just watch the intro. As for those times - the championship.
Install notes:
The Amiga version does not require the original rom. You can start the game using the AROS. To run Cannon Fodder set 1 Mb Chip RAM. For comfort, set three floppy disks.
