The Watchmaker is an adventure game that tells the story of two heroes setting off to a mysterious castle to find a dangerous machine that is a threat to the whole world.


Victoria Conroy, lawyer, and her companion, Darrel Boone, are experts in paranormal phenomena. Shortly after their first meeting, a taxi takes them to the gate of a mysterious Austrian castle, where a deadly threat lurks. Their task is to retrieve a mysterious device that will bring destruction to all mankind with the advent of the solar eclipse. The fact that it has been stolen and well hidden by religious fanatics does not help.


Unlike many traditional adventure games of those years, The Watchmaker frees the player from linearity and gives him complete freedom of exploration without imposing the pace of the game. The used 3D engine allows you to switch between the third and first person view in real time. This allows for more immersive puzzle-solving and exploration of the environment, while maintaining a climate specific to the ancestors.
