A galactic side-scroll shooter from Apogee Software, Ltd. takes the player to the distant future after WWII. Major Stryker is a futuristic shooter, released in 1993, in which the player struggles for the ultimate peace in the world over three episodes.


After almost eight years of peace, with the effort gained after the events of the Third World War, Earth was attacked again by alien Cretones. To counter the enemy, the combined military, led by war veteran Major Harrison Stryker, embarks on an ultimate survival mission. The whole game is based on three levels set on three different planets: lava, arctic and desert planets. Each of them differs in terms of the level of difficulty, the number of enemies or power-ups, obtained, for example, by destroying the entire fleet of enemy ships. The first six power-ups appear as letters. And so, for example, H, which is Hover, causes the action to slow down temporarily, M as Major Stryker is an extra life, while S from Speed ​​increases the speed of the ship.
