DiRT 2 is a continuation of the famous racing game. Unlike the earlier parts of the Colin McRae series, DiRT 2 focuses on the so-called DiRT Tour. These are eight different racing events: Rallye, Trailblazer, Raid, Landrush, Rallyecross, Gatecrasher, Domination and Last Man Standing.
Each event requires a specific car or race pack, which can be purchased with in-game currency. Players can customize both the appearance and performance of their cars.
The level of difficulty affects the availability of the so-called flashbacks, a unique feature that allows the player to rewind the action by a few seconds and fix mistakes.
One of the most important features of DiRT 2 is the presence of real drivers. Drivers provide valuable tips and participate in team events.
