Chaos Engine 2, a shooter game released in 1996 by Renegade Software for Amiga and Amiga CD32. This is the sequel to Chaos Engine of 1993 (also known as Soldiers of Fortune).
The game is in the process of destroying Chaos Engine, Baron Fortesque. However, it turns out that our heroes were imprisoned in a time loop. The only rescue is to rebuild the time machine.
Unlike its predecessor, Chaos Engine 2, the screen is split into two parts. There is no cooperative mode (co-op), here everyone is alone. The object of the game is to get as many points as possible by collecting items, killing monsters, and, of course, your opponent (this can be a computer or a second player).
Chaos Engine 2 is a great pairing for two people. With the "deathmatch" mode, the gameplay is very dynamic. Graphically and soundly presents a decent level.
