True Crime: Streets of LA is an action game released in 2003 by Activision Publishing. The game was released for Macintosh, PC (Windows), GameCube, PlayStation and XBox.

The True Crime series is one of the first series of games that wants to compete with Grand Theft Auto. As in the competitive series, we have an open world here, which we can move freely around. Game developers have recreated about 400 square miles of the City of Angels, wonderfully reflecting its atmosphere.

In True Crime: Streets of LA, we play the role of a police officer, member of the LAPD Elite Operations Department, who returns to service after being suspended for too extreme methods of operation. Our task is to fight the widespread crime controlled mainly by the Japanese Triada and the Russian mafia. From the very beginning, the plot of the game is intense and emotional. One of the first tasks we will face will be to solve the mystery of the bombing.


The game offers an extensive story mode allowing many hours of entertainment, but it should be mentioned that the title does not offer much freedom. In vain to look for opportunities to deal with side threads, personalize the appearance of the main character or the opportunity to buy real estate.
